Golfing in Lakeway, TX
For those who enjoy playing a few challenging rounds of golf, Lakeway is situated between two highly acclaimed country clubs, the Lakeway Country Club and Hills Country Club, and is within distance to Falconhead Golf Club and Spanish Oaks Club.
The Live Oak Golf Course and Yaupon Golf Course are both part of Lakeway Country Club. Featuring 36 holes of golf over both layouts—which are only three miles apart in distance—Members, Guest and Resort players will have their skills challenged based on the courses' blind tee shots, rolling hills, and generously long fairways. One of the most challenging holes at Live Oak, hole #3 and commonly referred to as JAWS, “plays 204 yards from the gold tees over a deep ravine that gobbles up a shot that falls short of the ravine.”
